Okay, I give up. You all win. This is the last ad I put on here. Guitar player. 32 years old. Pro equipment. Have live and recording experience. Transportation. Not a jerkoff. Skilled in and willing to play : Metal , Punk, Hardcore, Noise. Can't get a more generic listing than that. Bob 856-534-0984. For the love of God, there has to be somebody out there who wants me.

Heres the one that always gets me:

Experienced PRO bassist wanted for serious original band. Dedication is a must. Recording soon.

Ages 16 - 18 only.

Or here's another fave:

Where are all the bassists? Pro band needs bass BAD! Have Gigs. MUST have great gear and dedication.

No one over 30, no cellulites, no stoners, no head cases, no wives.

My favorite is at one of the local music stores

"Established rock band looking for experienced bassist"
and then right below it
"Experienced bassist looking to join rock band"

On craigslist:

I am looking to get together with a group of musicians to create a band that is interested in playing musical chairs music for community events and at schools. I am a professional David Hassellhoff impersonator and am looking for a side gig. It would be part fundraiser for the organization, there would be a cash prize for the winner and a few dollars left over for chairs, gas and other expenses. Must have a clean criminal record and be willing to rehearse enough to conjure up the proper chemistry to stop without any visual cue.
