I want to add a 5 string to my arsenal of basses.I saw a strait 5 MIM Jazz Bass used at my local music store.It looks clean and it's a darker blue with a redish colored pick gard.Really cool color combo, it will look cool on stage.

They have 459.00 on it that seems High for used MIM.Should it be more like 300.00 or reasonable to offer 300.00?

If it was at a store, that's probably why it cost a bit more. They had to buy it and then mark it up. I've seen used MIM's go for anywhere between $200 and $300 on a regular basis. You could always offer them $300 and see if they take it.

i find used mim 4's all the time for 300 canadian,ex cond w/case.....just saw a nice looking epiphone embassy 5 for 349 ,and i can usually get 10% off just for asking.....too much.....hold 300 cash under his nose and see...you can always go up a tad if you really like it....but you always have to be able to walk away....being too hot for something is a sure recipe for paying too much

Thanks Everyone 300.00 is what I will offer and I might complicate it by using my Epi TBird cause at some point i am going to get the Gibson TBird.
