Go down to the local music agent building with a boom box, and play your demo tape. Someone will be bound to love it, and sign you up to a lucrative contract. From there, sit back and and enjoy stardom.

Radio is dying. Get yourself a MySpace page, and promote yourself from there. If you don't have any recordings, look around by checking in the local musician's registry (newspaper or online), and find someone who can record you cheaply. Seriously...a buddy with Cakewalk or some other recording software can help you out there.

Do you have mp3's?

If you do, create a new page under the Music category. On these pages, as opposed to personal pages, you can load up to four mp3's. You can choose whether to make them downloadable, and you can choose whether to let people comment on or rate them.

Its great fun to go to your music page and see how many people listened to your song over night!

Honestly, I think the myspace idea is the best. It's done wonders for us. http://www.myspace.com/woodfish
