Thought I'd share our rejections and hate mail . . .
Please know we have listened carefully to all your tracks and have decided that your project is unsuitable for the direction we are pursuing with the label at this time.
You are currently not meeting the sound we're looking for. We are more of a hard rock record label. We are looking for more of a modern radio sound. We feel having you on our roster might slow you down and there are many labels that would suit your style more directly.
Oh yeah, you'll slow us down all right.
At this time we are not looking for any music in your genre, but we really appreciate you sharing your music with us. Best of luck in the future, and have a great day!

At this time, we feel it wouldn't be a good fit but nonetheless, we wish you the best in your endeavors. Have fun in Corona - I have a rental house over there...it's bloody hot there as well!!

We have reviewed your music samples but, at this time, we do not have any available opportunites (sic). The vocals were solid and the musicianship was proficient and well arranged. We wish you the best of luck on your music.
Unfortunately, due to lack of space, we are not able to select you for for this year. However, we are doing our utmost to grow the festival so that every year we will have more and more room to feature your remarkable talent. It was truly an honor to experience your music.
