Show Your Gig Flyers!

I've been doing the gig flyers for my band for a while now, and I'd love to see the designs that other bands use.

Do you typically do original flyers for each show, or do you just make appropriate changes to the respective information?

Do you use software? Pen and ink? Cut and paste images?

What's your inspiration and creative process like?

Here's what I just whipped up in photoshop for our next show:

In case that overtraffics out, here's a link

for a party in 2008. My 1st X using illustrator to get the fedora-girl. Not too proud of having a thousand words in it.
as opposed to yours, which is straight to the point... the important stuff is in big font! awesome!

Here some recent ones of mine, Photoshop and or Illustrator are my tools of choice. Which reminds me I have some flyers to make for April gigs, I need less time in front of the computer not more...

I found that a good versus bad flier doesn't mean much in terms of attendance. Better just to have a nice 2 week prior in the club/bar so people are reminded. Here are some randoms. Singer makes them quickly on his macbook.

I think this one is a thing of beauty because of it's understated subtlety. The venue got a new manager who tried to renegotiate our compensation the last few months of 2009. He got all "take it or leave it" with us, so, we booked 2010 without him. The only date we had available this year was St. Paddy's day, and it turned out they really wanted us to play. Soooooo.........

I present "Our final gig at the Landing until at least 2010" Flier. We can't get fired, so this should be a good time!

I love these A LOT.

Here's a couple I've done recently. They're double-sided, so that's why there's a bit of info missing on each:
