I know that the intermational web is not usually a good way of advertising anything locally. However if an international forum has a shedload of members, some of those are likely to be local so;

Shouldn't we have a bass players wanted board? Lets assume for a moment that we are ALL available for the right "motivation".

Also/alternatively what about an area for strictly NON bass players to ask really dumb questions that bass players could answer?

missing the point. Its for other people who might be shopping for bass players.
If I was looking for a guitarist or a drummer I would go to where they hang. It doesn't work for singers though ..... They don't have a forum. One wag here put it best " No singer could ever believe that another singer could even exist!"
