My band and I are planning a three day mini tour with our friends Shred Bundy, that will take us to Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. We want to do this in January, because what else will all the punks, and metal kids be doing except freezing their nuts off?
I am looking for clubs, bands, punk houses, etc. that will host us, rock with us, or let us sleep on their floor.
Can anyone help us?
Thanks! |

The Main Street Armory
Water Street Music Hall
Penny Arcade
Montage Music Hall
There are some others, but I'm more familiar with the places that cater to the cover scene.

Those places are the most punk rock of anywhere I've played. The Montage could be alright for that kind of a thing too, though I don't think that their acoustical situation is ideal for anything louder than a typical old school funk band. Speaking of which I'm playing there on the 7th...
Is Steel still around anymore?
I don't know about Syracuse, but Buffalo has a place called Club Diablo that could be worth looking into. |

What local bands are playing around up there?

There are/were some great punk and hardcore bands from that area, you should be able to set something up.
P.S. Bring extra warm clothes, Buffalo gives a new spin to the phrase "Hell freezing over" in January.

Heavy Metal Steve helped set up the show, he's good about helping punk and metal bands.
Now to book the 9th and 10th........ |

Try actually playing at RIT or Nazareth college (the latter was recently host to The Hush Sound). | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
