Hi, I don't want to get into advertising in here as I come here to talk bass matters but I'd appreciate some help.
My day job includes trying to get a worldwide talent quest website up and running and I'd like some help in finding the right places to publicise the site.
I know about Village Voice and Chicago Reader and LA Wekly and thanks to a Talkbass member Craigslist.
I'm not sure the above are the best places or even MySpace.
The website involves uploads of music file and entry into concerts where people vote. Winner receives cash, bursary, scholarship etc.
So it's all good for the music business as it encourages everyone.
I just need help to point me to places where people will see it!
And being a bass player this is an obvious place for me to ask for help.
