To be honest, I've always felt that Metallica is a pretty dumb name in and of itself. Just sayin'.

Band names are a tricky thing because you want it to help identify your band, but then you run the risk of pigeon holing yourself. You want to be unique, but not too unique.
Given some of the weird @$$ names people have for bands that are on the radio making money, I can't really say any name is completely off the table. I suppose if people like your music enough the name is no longer a defining characteristic, your fans think of the music not the words.

but seriously Godica is not a bad name. I'd try spelling it differently though. Godika, or Goddica.

if worse come to worse think of an inside joke or something and name it after that.
My new band is called Klondike Jack because our singer used to eat Klondike bars with Jack Daniel's poured inside of it.
