Sorry for the rant. I'm better now. I promise.

Instead of just being weird, why don't you tell us the story?

I believe he thought better of it and edited out the rant.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Funny. I was just about to post something similar 3 days ago. I just quit and took the drummer with me instead. We've had to turn down 8 offers already---accepting studio gigs in place of live ones. I think living well is the best revenge!

If murder had actually happened, he MIGHT be more oblivious to that fact...

I'm sorry. He booked us into a two-night gig that I had told him *repeatedly* I wouldn't play (for a number of very good reasons). He just told us about it yesterday (via e-mail), and said it's too late to pull out now. FWIW, today he generously offered to give up his share for both nights. After I told him he was generously going to give up his share for both nights.

That's all. Sorry I brought it up. Like the man said, move along...
