I could understand it if I sucked but I don't. Jam nights are few and far between. London seems mostly full of Open Mic nights which are singer based. I've networked on Myspace, advertised in music shop and rehersal studios. Tryed to help singers write, record etc. But as for getting up on stage, I just can't find a band.

What am I missing?

An eye?... You know, eye patches can be very intimidating...

Sometimes nobody takes the bait on your ads for months, then suddenly you get 15 offers, its just one of those things.

However, get yourself on musofinder.com, if you create an account and post a classified on there I guarantee you'll get a big response, especially in London.

I was in the same situation you're in. You can do what I did.

Start your own band with your originals. Advertise and pick a night to go bar-hopping after you've made a demo.

Host your own open mic night.

The truth is, sometimes it just takes time.... Major bummer, I know.
