Don't ya hate being one of the first guys to get auditioned for a gig? Then having to wait while they go thru the list of other potentials over the next week or so...

I don't mind that. What I mind is when I ASK to be called whether or not I get the gig and I get no call.. a$$holes.
Almost lost out on another gig because of that.

i would like to audition first. u get so set the bar as high as u would like it. if u blow them out of the water, they are gonna compare every performance to yours and yours would be more memorable

I just got another email, from the folks who I auditioned with. "Sorry its taking so long, please bare with us. We only have 2 or 3 auditions left".
They are contacting me, so that's a good sign. In the interim, offers from other gigs keep pilling up!!! And, some of these other gigs are looking pretty damn good!
