Uncouth, but sometimes that is what's called for, for certain bands. I think it
s more of an image thing than anything, really.

How uncouth it is depends on where you are from or currently residing. In many coastal and beach areas of the USA bare feet or sandals/flip-flops/slippas are a widely accepted way of life.

Obviously!

My reasoning is that any ideas about maintaining an 'image' are delusional, so I want to be comfortable.
