Looking to break in on this circuit and am in the process of learning tunes. Does anyone have a set list or suggestions for tunes to learn that I will need to know for agency booked wedding/corporate function gigs?

Try PM'ing TB'er Petebass in Australia, he is doing the
corporate party thing now and may have some comments,
include the link to this thread.

I'd start with some from the DJ top 200 (google it). That should put you well on your way, as most of these type of bands tend to play what is most popular (i.e. requested in general, which that list reflects).

When we play weddings we do what we call "cheeze whiz" music.
Songs from the top 40 Billboard charts... especially 60's pop and 70's disco...
The more "overplayed-on-the-radio" the better.

No problem. I was where you are at now a few months back. I now know more 'classic funk/rock/dance' tunes than I know what to do with. Particularly since I just dropped the project I was playing them with.

*note to self: band politics suck. deal with it.*

Here's a couple of the top corporate bands in the country...Check their setlists...Pretty awesome demo's too I might add. Party Quake's video is pretty cool. Somebody dropped some serious scratch on some of this.

I couldn't help but notice "Soul Survivors" didn't list a bass player.
