Well, it's definitely official. I'm done with my gig.

I was playing for a family entertainment group, and I thought things all went well. I sacrificed a lot for their stuff, and worked my ass off. March 8th and 9th, they had a gig, with a completely different band. We had recorded a demo of 2 tracks late last year, and we had a new guitarist. Well, he's still in it, but the rest of the band has changed. And of course, not a word was spoken about their plans to go a different direction or anything. They still have some of my PA cables and such, and a stage snake, which I need to get.

The one good thing is that it was a group that wasn't going to be that permanent for me. It was paying ok, but it wasn't music I'd play for that long. Better motivation to do my own thing, I suppose.

That's awfully cold-blooded from a group that does "family entertainment"! Tacky, tacky, tacky. You and the other band members that they left hanging worked hard for them, and deserve to have been treated better than that.

But...now you're free to pursue something better!!!

Let us know what you get going...new doors opening are always exciting!

Real shady. But, it's alright. Most of them were bordering on clinically neurotic. It got pretty interesting!

Time to do a drum and bass gig, a la Clatter!
