what to do about the lead guitarest

The new band I'm in now went to take photos for are demo pack to give to clubs ..band site..ect.. When we were doing the photos there were other people takeing some as well.
When we were done they were still takeing photos and askeing what we were doing . I told them we were a band takeing band photos and what are band name was ect... the lead guitarest sayes well I just droped a nother cd of my solo stuff you should go to www. ba ba ba.
I think they were from one of the free papers around town..but I was so mad...I mean he needs to do that stuff on his own time not with the band and then not say a thing about our band. Going to talk to him on sun our get to gether day...thoughs on what to do or has this happend to you

IMHO - Proper protocol would be to keep your side/solo projects/other bands separate. That includes hyping your side project gigs on the bands facebook/websites. Use your personal facebook pages for that. Your guitarist seems like the sort of person that takes his girlfriend out to a club and then spends the night hitting on other women.

Pretty unprofessional to promote your solo act when you're there with the band, I think. That lets you know where his priorities lie. I would continue to monitor him.
