What do you do when you're in three different bands, but each band has one person at least from the previous one?
Basically my situation is, my first band has 3 people and me. The second band has 1 person from the first band, and the 3rd band has 1 person from the first band and 1 person from the second band. And not to mention, I'm in all 3, so basically at least 2 people are in all 3 bands. I know that probably didnt make sense, but I hope it did.
The only reason we're so seperated is because all 3 bands are completely different styles of music, and we would have 2 drummers and 3 guitarists. One band is pure thrash metal, the other is progressive metal, the other is more progressive jazz alternative. Does this sound like a dumb situation? I mean, Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment are all the same people except a different bass player and no singer, but still, just, what do you guys think...anyone else have situations like this? I'm not saying it's a problem just it seems a bit awkward at times. |
