Where to get a banner

My band is looking to get a new banner. Was wondering if anyone had any good experiences getting a banner for an affordable price.

If there is a billboard advertising company in your area, check with them first. They usually can produce banners in whatever size you want on all weather, heavy duty vinyl in any colors, photos, logos, etc. Make sure you get one with metal grommets. The last time I had a 3' X 8' banner made, it cost $125 for one color.

Many silk screening businesses also make vinyl or fabric banners.

Fedex/Kinko's makes them.

Look for a local sign company. Most specialize in banners and outdoor signs. Good ones also specialize in printed banners, meaning you can have a photograph or anything as detailed and colorful on your banner.

I actually do vinyl banners. You can usually get one 2'x4' for 30 or 40 bucks from a local print shop. Definitely go with a local shop as opposed to fedex/kinkos. Better service but I guess I'm biased

Hey, probably should have been more specific. I'm looking for a vinyl (or similar material) banner for stage.

Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely check for a local sign/print shop, and I'll definitely go metal grommet.

If you don't mind having a beer logo on it, we got lucky with a free one from a local Bud Light distributor - a nice vinyl one about 7ft x 4 ft

Staples and Office Depot also do them. I had my last band's banner made at Staples. Turned out as I'd ordered it: cheap, uninspired, and blah. But, it was on budget, built as specified, and convenient.

They have a book of suggestions and pricing options. Very easy to just go in, talk with the 'cute' copy girl for about 20 minutes, and pick it up a week later.

If you can find the Hulk after he's been in a taxing fight and ready to sleep, he'll revert to human form and you'll soon have a Banner.....
