We have been around for about 4-5 years and have about 30 originals and a few albums.

We are going to record again this December and we record it ourselves.

Just want to know honest opinions and to get out music out to you bass heads.

Sounds great man! Kinda reminds me of The Cult.

I'd say this would probably go in Band Management or just general bass discussion.

He says "bass heads" but he means it in the way of another term for "bass players".

He's just trying to get our opinions on his band.

I had a friend who said my old band sounded alot like the Smithereens, back in the 80's. At that point, I'd never heard of the Smithereens. Funny how people sometimes make those connections. Anyway, your band rocks. Keep it fun.

Sounds good, I think you guys should take a more fitting art direction though.

THanks guys.
Understand that I'm not hear to make friends, promote a project or anything like that. I participate on the forum to learn, communicate my experiences and express opinions (especially when asked).

With that said, I listened and navigated the micespace some. Its obvious that your band seems to be committed. Wish I could hear some vocal haromony instead of doubling on Don't Follow. I listened to a little bit of another song, Pulse. I like the bass tone, but I never heard a hook that grabs a casual listener and doesn't let them go.

I like the instumental part at the beginning of Remedy, but the vocal seems weak to me and the song drags after that. I'd guess that the songs appeal to the band and their immediate following but think that they'd lack broad range support. Love the bass tone and your playing.

If I were you guys, I'd try recording to a click track . . . maybe it was intentional, but I was distracted by the subtle changes in velocidad of the different sections of your group's songs . . . like I said, maybe it was intentional, but I don't think so . . .

good luck with your plans . . .
