Long time a go I heard and attempted to play a song. This song featured a DBass solo at the begining(I think it was the melody). I wasn't able to play it then but I think I am ready NOW.

All I can remember is that it was called _______ marketplace. Does anybody know who plays this song so that Track it.

I think you're talking about "Nigerian Marketplace".
The bassist is Niels Pedersen. The recording is
"Nigerian Marketplace" - Oscar Peterson.

Yeah! that it the song! I was able to find it thanks for your help... Now if i can locate the transcription! although I can figure out bass part I would like to study the chord changes etc.. Thanks
