20th century solo music?

Hi, I'm 17 and in my last year of school, and for my music A level (i'm in the UK) I need two recordings of the same piece of music, to compare. The piece ive chosen for my performance is by lennox berkeley, and i dont think it will be possible to find a or two recording of that, but instead, for my essay, i'm allowed to use a different piece, aslong as it's related to my performance. So my problem is finding two recordings of the same piece, by a composer from the 20th century. All ideas, i'm sure will be useful.

Try Koussevitzky's Valse Miniature. I know there are a few good recordings out there. Gary Karr's and Duncan McTier's to name a few. Then again, I'm not sure how difficult McTier's will be to find. Or you can cheat and find two violin recordings of the same piece.

There are many recordings of Hindemith.
