Bernie's Tune

I put up a video of a group I play with doing Bernie's Tune. It is on my website. Just click on 'Video'. Enjoy.

I will be updating these videos periodically. I changed it to a fun arrangement by the piano player or the Police tune 'King of Pain'. Enjoy.

Hey Marc, that's a seriously nice sounding group you have there. I really like your sax player -- I haven't listened to his original yet, but King of Pain and Equinox sounded great (I love the arrangements on both, it's nice hearing something new on Equinox in particular.) Sting would be pleased .

EDIT: I listened to the original...I left it playing while I was looking at the AAJ forums for a while. At one point, you can hear everyone getting into it and there's this one lick the sax player does over and over for a second, building tension with this crescendo from everyone else...very cool. While listening to it though, my first thought is "All of them are dancing!" so I flashed back to the video and all of you guys are grooving really hard, looking like you're having a great time playing. Everyone seems really into it -- no bad attitudes, no one's phoning it in at all...sounds like you've got yourself a great group there, Marc!

Thanks Aaron. We all really enjoy each other's company both personally and musically. We actually have a good laugh sometimes about how this group has no drama, no attitude, and we are friendly and like eachother and how getting rich and famous will change that.

I like the "neo reggae" groove at the beginning of Equinox - it's got a real fat pocket to it. The group sounds great! Too bad the crowd was so noisy...
