Bill Evans Trio Birdland 1960

Anybody got this? I heard a couple of cuts at my teacher's studio recently (the CD seemed to start in the middle of Scotty's solo on AUTUMN LEAVES). I only listened to AUTUMN LEAVES and OUR DELIGHT, but it swings really hard and Scotty just sounds great; strong and right up front. I'm trying to put my hands on a copy...

Yeah, I've got that gig on tape. Great performance, great playing, great tunes. I like it better than "Portrait In Jazz", the studio recording they did around that time.

What a tool the announcer is though, right? Totally one of these square dudes from the period. I love when he's announcing and asks Bill what the next tune is and Bill says "Nardis" and the announcer says "Nar-dis?...." and then Bill says something and the announcer says "One of the Miles Davis original things......" LOL.

Which actually is interesting that Bill credits the tune to Miles because I've heard a discrepency whether or not Miles wrote it and maybe Bill Evans did, as Miles never played it and Bill did his entire career.
