Blue Cee - Charles Mingus

Has anyone heard this track off of Mingus's "The Clown"? I'm starting to transcribe Mingus's solo, but some rhythmic thing threw me off. It seems like at the very end of his first chorus, going into his second one, the drum drops two beats (or adds two). It's sorta subtle, but to me it really feels like he's playing like 3-4-1-2 for Mingus's (and my) 1-2-3-4. Anyone else hear this or am I going crazy. They lock up again by chorus three, no one could miss it when Mingus plays those octaves, but I'm just not sure about that second chorus.

Extra set of ears appreciated.
