Segni del Tempo - new Cd by Enrico Francioni

I'm very happy Kolox has posted this thread about the Cd called "Segni del Tempo" by italian maestro Enrico Francioni.
I have to say Enrico is one of my friends and he's one of the new italian modern composer about the double bass.
You know, Italy is not a large state in comparison with the States or Canada, but with very ancient musical traditions and great composers. Regarding to modern composer probably you know Fernando Grillo, Corrado Canonici, Stefano Scodanibbio ... well, Francioni is a young composer who follows this lines and perspectives (he's studied for a lot of time with a perfomer, soloist and composer like "magister" Ferdinando GRILLO that probably you have known through Double Bassist magazine) but I think with his innovative ideas and musical pulsations.
"Segni del tempo" means, approxamately, "signs of time", but it's no correct to think this work as one of already known CD. I have no the words to describe it. But I think it's a well recorded Cd for a new visions of our double bass also in different groups.
Thanks a lot again Kolox. I would like to be much more present in this incredible "forum" of discussion, but every time it's diffucult to write in a correct manner.

My best regards

vito
