That was quite interesting. I had to skip through the last minute of Matheny's solo though, but McBride was playing very well.

Im pretty new to DB, but , did he have an effect while playing arco ? because it kinda sounded like Wah

He's using a wah wah pedal. He used it when I saw him last weekend.

Yeah, he had some kind of stomp box on the floor. I absolutely love the way mcbride plays, but I can't stand his arco tone. Maybe it's those darn helicores...

He had the same tone when he was using Weichs.
