Claude Bolling Trio bassist?

I'm wearing out the grooves on a Claude Bolling Trio CD a friend gave me. "Jazz a la Francais" it's called, and its about the most UP music I've heard lately. Claude Bolling is an absolute genius, his blend of classical and jazz puts a smile on my face in the same way that Menuhin and Reinhardt do.

But I can't find out who's playing the bass. Beautiful melodic, swinging lines and solos and a perfect match for Bolling's fun on the keys.

I've googled and I've googled to no avail. One of my favourite pastimes is listening to a new jazz track on the car radio and trying to guess the bassist. But here I have a whole CD of great bass and aaaaargh i want to know who it is! *Sounds* a bit Ron Carterish to me, but with an album title like that, I'm guessing its a frenchman.

any clues? anyone got the album cover?
