Critique my Bach prelude

It's set to autoplay at the top of my myspace page:

The only processing I did was to add a touch of reverb.
Thanks, Mark

I would work on using more bow, giving the notes their full due, and intonation.

I would (and do because I am also working on this suite) practice slowly with a metronome and work on being exactly in-tune, with evenness in the notes. Make the shifts clearer.

One thing that helps me when I am working on this is I set my metronome to 84 bpms(eighth note), I take out all the slurs, and work on getting my full bow in every note, making sure they are even, and exactly in tune. I then go to 88 bpms, then 100, then 120, then finally to 160. Then I start over at 88bpms. This time I get all 4 notes in one bow (or however your edition has the notes tied), except I stop the bow between then notes and leave plenty of space making them as even as possible. And then I work my way up to 160 bpms. This usually helps with tone, intonation, rythm, and evenness. Also is good for bow control to.

Good work, and good luck

Thanks Steve, your suggestion to move bow down -- are you suggesting to get more focus to the sound from a lower/slower bow? Thanks for the comment. Oh -- did you also stumble into my Kouss Chanson Triste there on my myspace page?
