Hey John

Thanks for the notice. I'm an old student of Adams and have really enjoyed your playing on the few occasions I've heard you.

Congratulations on the new album. Can't wait to check it out.

Good to see you on talk bass, John. I have really liked everything of yours I have heard, the duo with Copeland, Mary Halverson's trio and a few others. You have a great sound and great lines. I am DLing the Carl Maquire now and looking for your album.

John H, as in William Paterson and Eddie Hazell?
If so, I followed you into Eddie's trio when you went to the Dorsey band.
Lou Slingerland and I have been saying how we have to catch you some night.

Sad story; Eddie came down with Parkinson's, the trio had to break up.
Lou and I are fine. The release gig sounds like a good motivator to get us off our asses.

This is a really fine album and it really stakes out it's own territory. Everyone plays great on it and there is lots of great bass playing.
