This is a clip of the great Steve Allen rather awkwardly introducing Miles' quintet which immediately burns on "Waxing with Max" and soulfully renders "It Never Entered My Mind". Kudos for Steve for having the cajones to have on such a modern jazz group on a general entertainment venue in 1955. Of course, Trane and PC are in attendance and play great as usual.
