Nathan Parker's CD

Hey all, I just got in the mail a copy of a CD our own Nathan Parker is playing on and it sounds really great. Nice quartet, I particularly dig the piano player. But Nate is getting a big, warm swinging sound and has a lot of space on the recording. I've only had a chance to listen through it once here at the daygig, but VERY NICE!

Hey, congrats Nathan! I'll check this out. I always love playing with Steve. Don't know the other guys. It's like there's a lake in between us or something.

Nice to get such words from Mr. Fuqua about your playing. Savor the moment.

EDIT: Yes, indeed! Just listened to the samples and sounds like a very nice record all around. Will own a copy. Congrats to you all.

Thanks a lot, guys. I appreciate your kind words. And yes, Troy, it is as if a lake is between us. Which part of Seattle do you live in? I live down in the good old ghetto of Rainier Beach. The rest of the guys live to far north for me to ever go. We are having a CD release gig at Egan's on March 13th, you should come by. As well as any other Seattle-ite's who are reading this.

Hey, count me in. Egan's is 10 minutes from my house...and it turns out there isn't a like in between us. You're just an eastsider by association.
