Rock Upright Players that Solo with a Bow

I'm unsure which forum I should post in- I'm new to playing upright after 25 years of playing electric bass. My main project calls for lots of bow work, and some soloing with the bow. I'm comfortable knowing how bad I am (it's not pretty!). However, it'd be nice to hear examples of good players soloing with a bow in a rock context. It'd help me improve- something to aspire to.

Does anyone have suggestions of recordings or players? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, soloing with a bow in a rock context is as difficult as soloing with a bow in a jazz context; it's about phrasing, context, pitch, culture, technique...
Here"s a Deep Purple Solo i've made before moving from my past home... I prepare others (Van Halen's solo on Beat It and some vintage 70's/80's guitar solos...

Good music!
Excellent!

C'est drôle, je regardais justement le travail que tu as fait avec ZAZ hier. Je commence à la contrebasse et ton travail m'inspire beaucoup.

Merci!
