A self-taught folkie practicing

I recorded myself practicing last weekend just to have something out there when a potential band asks me "hey, got any recordings?" What do y'all real bassists think about this?

http://wolves.tamu.edu/comm/snd/normal/ndance_r.mp3 - the basic theme from Edvard Grieg's Norwegian dance no. 1

http://wolves.tamu.edu/comm/snd/normal/sorrento_r.mp3 - "Come back to Sorrento" with plenty of cheese

Yeah, I should probably record some pizz... that'd be much more relevant to wedding/banquet/dance band. Though traditional Polish folk music does have arco bass playing staccato half-notes.
