Exclamation cracked luthite??? ibanez ergodyne edb 605 five string

I bought a five string ibanez ergodyne edb605 for 150$ was a steal for the quality of sound the way it's shaped and not to mention the synthetic materials (luthite) that were discontinued late 2005 the paint is scratched all over but my main concern is how to contend with the crack in the luthite I need some feed back and ideas for what to do about this please respond any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The upper horn of my EDA905 has a small crack. My tech pulled it open, squeezed in some super glue, and held it together until it dried. That was about 6 months ago and it seems to be holding.

What can seal it to where I can sand it down and repaint it? I want to make it a metallic orange or may be a glossy black. do you have the stock pickups? IM thinking maybe some Cps pickups like what sound gear seams to have in their basses I really like the sound I got out of them but there again the sound gears I played around on were both active and passive where as my bass is active can I get some advice on this as well as the repair?
