I was robbed yesterday
Well, I was gone for an hour and a half, and came home to find my back door kicked in. All my bass gear was stolen, along with most of my photography gear (professional with home studio).
I am still working on gathering serial numbers (hell, I'm not even sure I have completed the list of what was taken), but here's a partial list, and I'll update as I can...

1975 Fender Precision, metallic blue
2013 Fender MIJ Sting Bass, S/N: JD13016216

Ampeg PF-115HE, S/N: PF115HEANEL0102

Mic Stand w/boom
Guitar hanger for mic stand
iPad bracket for mic stand

Audio Technica AE5400
2 Canon EOS 5D mark III cameras

So sorry man!
I know exactly how you are feeling. We got hit in December of last year. I hope they get caught and you get your stuff back. So sorry, man.
I hope so, too. And thanks.
If you were gone only an hour and a half, I'd definitely be looking at the neighbors. They've probably been watching you for some time.
so sorry man...that sux
was going to mention something along the lines of Freddels......not necessarily the neighbours but def someone that knew what you had in there. Also the timeline would suggest you were being watched. Was this hour and a half a routine time you were away?
eg:every thurs noon-2 swimming
Wow, had to be someone who somehow knew you were a player and/or photographer. Great if you have all of the serial numbers and the police can get those out to pawn shops and music stores. I'm sure they didn't take it to use it themselves.
Good luck with this and keep us posted.
Thanks, guys. Will do.
Damn. That really sucks. I wish you the best in getting your stuff back.
Good luck on getting your stuff back. Had to be somebody you know.
Man, that is a drag! I only live about 40-50 miles from you so i will definitely keep my this in mind if anyone tries to pass me some bass gear. It's all rural between me and you so you just never know. Yeah, I'd suspect the neighbors. Some random b/e dude would feel very visible loading out your larger gear, would be quite a load. So I'm thinking someone who felt they had more control over the total situation. In a rural town you are easy as heck to follow. No I'm not a crook - but I know how they work. It's all about opportunity. Start with those with most opportunity. So sorry man.:(
Thanks for the support, guys.
They stole way too much stuff in too short a time to be "random"
Sorry bro, thats rough man
SUX! I am sorry, man.
Ack, I'm physically ill for your loss. That '75 Fender, holy cow.
Agree that this was an individual who knew your hobbies and routine, and may have been watching from nearby for the opportunity. I hope the cops actually make the effort, or the miscreant slips when he tries to fence your stuff.
I was robbed yesterday
Somehow I feel this way too... It's gotta be somebody that has been checking out your habits... Plus it looks like they knew exactly what they were going for.
