So my house was robbed while i was at work today. All 3 of my basses, my amp and all my lady's jewelry was stolen.

IF anyone in the San Diego area sees these instruments contact me immediately.

1. 1997 Fender Am Std. Jazz V, Black with white pickguard, serial number starts with N7, in a musicians friend gig bag.

2. MTD Heir 5 tobacco sunburst with new KZX neck (black headstock). In a roadrunner Hardshell case

3. Squier Precision 5 tobacco sunburst, stock. This was in a SKB freedom hardshell case.

4. Aguilar TH 500 Serial number #15136.

This happened while i was gone for 2 hours at work. I now have no instruemnts or an amplifier. So awesome.

I'm so sorry man.

Wow!! My condolences. You go to try and make an honest buck and some scumbag does this to you. I hope karma takes a big bite out of his ass

joebar 01-18-2013 06:03 PM

dude that sucks so bad

vishuddha 01-18-2013 06:06 PM

I'm so sorry for what happened to you. Rest assured that one day, the idiot who did this is likely to get his face smashed in one day when he breaks into the wrong house... God knows plenty of gun owners WANT someone to break in so they can waste them. I know that doesn't get your gear back, but I assure you this *******'s life is going to get very unpleasant someday.

Again, I know how hard this must be. If I had any extra gear, I'd let you have it for a fraction of the cost, but I'm not lucky enough to have any bass stuff I don't need :(

Thanks man.. i appreciate it. The jerk got in through our dog door which was closed and locked. Turns out it's real real easy to open.

That Fender had been my baby for 15 years. I bought it new. We have homeowner's insurance, but i'm so devastated. The amp was less than 3 months old. :bawl:

At least my pets are fine and my lady is safe.

Forwarding this to everyone I know in San D.

Sorry to hear this. Hope you find your stuff or at least your insurance company helps.

Glad no one was hurt.

Solarmist 01-18-2013 06:25 PM

I'm so sorry man - leave it to a lowlife A-hole to mess up your life like this.

I'm going to bookmark this thread ... please keep us imformed.

PWRL 01-18-2013 06:27 PM

I am very sorry to hear that. Hoping the best for you.

bass4worship 01-18-2013 06:28 PM

I'll keep a eye out for them, that suck man.

EagleMoon 01-18-2013 06:37 PM

Wow, if they got in while you were gone only that long it makes you wonder if they were watching your house. I'd be tempted to buy a huge Pit Bull after that.

TolerancEJ 01-18-2013 06:44 PM

That's terrible. Really sorry that happened to you. I hope you will be able to get your property back.

SirRolfe 01-18-2013 07:16 PM

Sorry about your troubles. One of my co-worker's house was robbed. No basses in the house, but lots of jewelry missing. Check with pawn stores in the area and eBay if anything pops up. Hope for the best!

I was robbed on Thanksgiving Day. They took my xbox a gun and a change jar, all these things were in the same room as my 2012 ric and all my studio gear, left untouched.

exidor 01-18-2013 07:20 PM

I'm glad you your lady and dogs are ok.

Yeah, we have homeowners insurance. All of her jewelry and her $2500 Sony HD camera was taken too (her side gig is a sports vidoegrapher). This just sucks. the police told me than another house about a block from me was robbed last week. They had a band and jammed in the garage. The whole garage was cleaned out. Burglary was same time of day as mine was.

TolerancEJ 01-18-2013 07:29 PM

So they seem to be keeping an eye out for musicians.
