That truly sucks... don't know if it'll end up in Northern Cali, but if I see it trolling craigs list or at a store, I'll drop a dime on the scumbags.

Arlington, Grand Prairie area

So sorry my bass brother. That high-end bass will easily be spotted in the metroplex. Rest assured that if I come across it, You will know about it. We were playing at Brekinridge Brewery in the West End outside on the patio, and I caught a patron with my 72 jazz in his hands while I went on break, looking as if he was going to make a run with it. I hate that I have to take lesser basses, if I want to keep my expensive ones.

Hey, I feel your pain. Fortunately, it's a bass that stands out, and I hope it's recovered. Fortunately, it's not some generic Fender that gets lost. We all know how to spot Nordies

I'll keep an eye out as well.

young called me within 10 seconds of my emailing him. Within another hour, he and my friend were on the way to the pawn shop with police in tow. I know my friend got his money back and young got his Nordy.

Freak occurrence. My friend called me and asked me to check prices on that bass he had just bought (for $225 sheesh!). The first thing that googled up was this thread, so I called him and had him check the serial number, and ... sure enough....

I can't say anything but thanks to you and rick. I almost gave up my hope, and i still can't believe I found my NORDY!!!

However, unfortunately, I do not have my Nordy yet. Police said they have to take the bass as an evidence, and I have to prove that the bass is mine at the court.

My friend says it will take 3-4 months to process everything, so the waiting begins....
