Seattle: Stolen Tecamp Puma1000 in Gator 3-space rack case

Sign in to disble this ad
The passenger rear window of my car was smashed in and my Gator 3-space shallow rack case containing my Tecamp Puma1000 was stolen today from the LA Fitness parking lot in Seattle on north Aurora Ave.

If anyone has seen a Tecamp Puma1000 in the Seattle area up for sale please contact me here on TB via PM or at my person email edge_q5@yahoo.com

This is a pretty uncommon amplifier to see in shops, and to my knowledge, as crazy as it seems, I'm the only guy in the Seattle area using this particular amp. If you see one for sale, it's likely mine.

Thanks for the help everyone!

-Chris

Do you have any pictures?

Did you notify BassNW, Guitar Centers, and other guitar shops?

Good luck, I will keep my eyes open.

I've notified the police, GC and BassNW. I've also got an insurance claim going already. By the time everything was wrapped up all the pawn shops in the area were closed and aren't open on Sundays. I'll be checking them first thing in the morning.

I'll get pictures up soon. I have to sort through band photos to find them.

I did a search using the search tempest search engine, and nothing has come up yet. I will continue to keep a look out.

Best of luck to you getting your rig back. BTW: Awesome photo of your band.

Looks like my insurance company (State Farm) will reimburse me for the total replacement cost of everything that was stolen (approaching $3,000), minus my deductible.

A big thanks to Glenn at Austin Bass Traders and Brian at The LowEnd for all of their help through this headache of a situation.

Heading to the pawn shops in a few minutes to see if anything turns up.

Just got the call from the insurance company. A check for $2,000 is in the mail to cover the amp and another for $300 will be coming to cover the other stuff (the rack, misc cabling, a coat and a hoodie) in about two weeks.

Nothing has been reported to the police, so I'm assuming my amp is long gone. Sad story, but at least I'm covered. Thanks again for looking out everybody!

My replacement Puma1000 showed up yesterday. Big thanks to Glenn Kawamoto at Austin Bass Traders for hooking me up at a very reasonable price and being so on top of everything.

I haven't had a chance to plug in my new Puma and give it a test drive, but I'll do that tonight. I am a little bummed out that at some point Tecamp changed out the chrome push buttons for flat black ones. I guess the front looks cleaner now, but I liked the slightly garish look of my previous amp. Oh well. As long as it sounds the same I'll be a happy camper.
