So I found out today that Insurance will NOT cover any of my lost items. So I'm heartbroken...

Please be on the lookout guys. I appreciate the support & sympathy that everyone has provided.

Steve,
That's tragic, it's unfortunate that insurance has fine lines on what they will cover. Which means I need to look into my gear being insured, another expense. Steve, I got my eyes and ears open, anything I can do to help, let me know. I will talk it up at the GTG next weekend as well.

That's a shame. Yeah, most renters insurance policies are very strict. If it wasn't taken from the actual apartment, they won't pay out.

Sorry to hear it happened. How long was the bass in the car for?

Cameras in your garage? Good luck finding that -- perhaps its uniqueness will speed its recovery.

I'm definitely hoping so. It could be somewhere across the world by now.

No. Personal property typically falls under Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, or Musicians Insurance.

Let this be a lesson to all of us...if you don't own one of the three here, you should get some.

It was prolly in Reseda in 15 minutes after it was stolen too.

If it gets to where I live - I'll holler - since this is a very small community word gets around here F-A-S-T

I've got a BBQ gig in 1/2 hour and will spread the word for you there too.

That sucks! Here in Illinois, I was told by my State Farm Agent musical equipment isn't covered under car or home owners insurance and I needed to take out a professional musician policy that cost like $500 a year. But when my apartment was broken into and my rig was stolen, I claimed it on my home owners insurance and they paid out. 2 months later they dropped me. I hope you find it.
