Unhappy Stolen Ernie Ball MusicMan - Devastated

My bass was stolen out of my car yesterday evening in SF at the 22nd St. Cal Train Station, approximately 1149 22nd St., San Francisco 94107. The bass was a Blue 4-string Ernie Ball MusicMan Sterling with a white pick guard, single black humbucker pick up and a maple neck. Picture attached. The serial number is: F12768. It was in a Black Earnie Ball Hard Shell Sterling Bass case. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to better my chances of recovery, I'm all ears. At this point the police aren't doing s**t so I'm trying to be as pro-active as possible in hopes that maybe it will turn up.

Feel free to hit me up with advice or suggestions. Thanks.

Call every guitar store and pawn shop you can find informing them of the theft and the serial number.

What they ^ said. If you do get it back ( I hope so), don't leave it in your car again, ever.

THIS!

Mine was stolen on a Thursday and I was giggin' with it Sat. night...most criminals ain't smart..

Do you have the serial #'s?
Make sure you know every detail about it. A certain scratch, imperfection, loose volume knob, color and brand of strap..... Something they can't dispute.

Next, if it was stolen in a gig bag, try to remember everything that was in there..picks, instrument cables (color), lyrics, whatever...it will come in handy..

Hope you find your stuff
