STOLEN GEAR ALERT - NORTHERN VIRGINIA

Sign in to disble this ad
My wife woke me up about 5:00 this morning and said the tailgate to my trailer was down. Sure enough, the PA system and my bass amplifier were stolen. I'm waiting for the police to arrive so I can file a report. Here's what's missing:

2 JBL MRX515 mains
2 JBL MRX518 subs
2 Crown XTi 4000 amps
1 Crown XLS 802D amp
1 TC Electronics M350
1 dbx Drive Rack PA
1 Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro mixer
2 Par 46 LED light cans
2 Par 36 LED light cans
2 JBL 112M monitors
2 Yamaha 112 monitors
1 Euphonic Audio iAmp800 bass head
1 Euphonic Audio CXL112 bass cabinet
1 Schroeder 410L bass cabinet
1 Korg rack tuner

I'm going to start scouring the local Craigslist, music shops and pawn shops. I thankfully have most of the original boxes and receipts to make the police report and insurance claim easier. All I ask is let me know if you see anything in the MD/DC/VA area. Thanks.

I'll keep an eye out for sure.

You may want to check with Atomic Music in Beltsville, MD. They're a huge used store and if the thieves know about music equipment they'd likely go there. Atomic doesn't sell anything it buys from people for about a month to make sure it's not stolen. So, if it was sold there it'll likely still be there.

Good luck man. I've been the victim of gear theft too and it's a crushing bummer.

sorry to hear it ....remember,the engraver is your friend, and i would think a back up code/message inside the casing when you replace it might help down the road if a tech ever opens it up......
