Kira Roessler, former bassist for Black Flag and bassist for Dos, had her home broken into today. If you regularly peruse Ebay or Craigslist or any other music-gear oriented site, and find the bass pictured above, contact Kira on her Facebook page, or post here and I'll get the info to her.
She's really enamored of this bass, which was custom made, 3/4 scale, and given to her by Mike Watt.
Keep your eyes peeled, guys, let's bring Blue home!

What area does she live in? |

Drank Mike Watt and fIREHOSE's beer after a show in Salzburg, Austria back in the spring of '92. Somewhere in my stuff I have the set list from that show signed by Mike, George Hurley and Ed from Ohio. Talk about a great bunch of guys.
Hope the jerk who stole this bass get caught and put away for a good long while.

That is one cool bass! I wonder who made it? Anyway, I hope she gets it back soon.

And there was a real hammerhead commenting in that link. What a jerk!
"i'm sure she has easy access to a hundred that're just as good. i mean, it sucks when anything gets stolen but it's a bass guitar we're talking about here, right? its easy to find a wonderful bass guitar."
What a meatsack! It's about WHO gave it to her, and the fact that it was COMMISSIONED SPECIFICALLY FOR HER. Sheesh.
