press release from: edwardprzydzial.com

stolen bass and guitar list~

-stolen in november 1987 in hollywood on; [clark street] & sunset blvd.

1984 bc rich mockingbird,
1982 gibson flying v bass,
1981 carvin,
1978 fender p-bass,
1987 bc rich bich,
1987 bc rich eagle...

1985 gibson exp flying v guitar
1978 ampeg svt 8 10

1978 chrome ludwig double bass drumkit... large concert tom and double floor toms are extra size 80's... hardware and zildjian cymbals. i think the stands were various manufacturers. our small 16 track tascam and a tascam 2 track reel to reel deck and misc strobes, tuners and extra cymbals, guitar cases and guitar items.

78 pignose practice amp, various silver skull rings and spider jewelry. dagger and switchblade collection. some world war 2 flags and a helmet and officers cap from the german army. various guitar parts and tools. repair tools and bench... all guitar related repair equipment to restore and or repair any guitar or string related instrument.

we lost a lot of stuff because the idiot landlord and the owner of the property were not doing proper business and got some sort of rivalry going on and tenants like myself ended up brought into the drama and here's how it ended for me. they claimed they had filed an eviction notice on the band house during the month of october but we never received any notice from the city or the landlord regarding a 'alleged' eviction. when i tried contacting police the case file has been lost... west hollywood cops claim they can't find any reports from this incident... ???

i was out of state less then 3 weeks and i come back to a house ripped off and all my stuff is basically gone. i mean very valuable guitars and personal items were in that apartment and most of it mine. the other band members lived elsewhere in hollywood so it was mostly my crap that got ripped off...

if anyone know's about this case, i would appreciate you contacting me. i have been trying to replace all the instruments i lost and am still doing so. if you can assist i'd greatly appreciate it.

edd~

stolen from the corrupt band house on clark st. the performance for that evenings show was cancelled.*

Hire an attorney. The notice of eviction must be delivered AND SIGNED by registered mail. The notice of eviction must be delivered by a police office or sheriff's deputy. Had your landlord not followed specific procedure dictated by your state and TO THE LETTER OF THE LAW, the land lord can be in serious trouble. Of the many charges, your landlord can be charged with criminal trespass and burglary. My state (Washington) is very tenant friendly and will prosecute landlords who do not follow the law.

Good luck.

BTW, in my state it usually takes 3 months to evict a tenant from the first notice of eviction letter to the time that the sheriff's deputy puts the tenant's belongings out on the sidewalk. Like I said previously it is a long and complicated process. Usually it is easier to give the tenants money to leave. I know, I have unfortunately had to evict some tenants. Luckily they left on their own (without paying rent) after my second notice of eviction.

Wink thanx...

...it's been bothering me for years... i never pursued the case and moved back to detroit. i had went into rehab and then fought the law for a few years and never got around to actually making los angeles county pay me for my lost gear. the mockingbird is easily worth a good 5 grand if it's still as mint as it was when i owned it. the rest are easy a grand or more each and all my jewelry lost as well. mostly custom silver skull and spiders... stuff like that. thanks for the advice. i may find an attorney and see what i can do. thanks again.
