Keep an eye on ebay as well. My guitarist had a PRS hollowbody stolen from a club. 3 years later it turned up on ebay and he managed to get it back. Keep looking.

Make sure you construct a search on Google and eBay so you get an update every time one is mentioned or listed ANYWHERE just in case it shows up out of town. The Google one once let me know of a rare ax that I was looking to buy.which was listed on an out of state CL listing, I did get it, Good luck!

Google: Start here... Google Alerts - Monitor the Web for interesting new content

eBay: Read and follow instructions from Saving your searches It is a long page but has ALL the info you need. Most important thing is to really have your search terms correct AND make sure you have followed the following instructions..

The following is on this instruction page but wanted to present it here as well...

Receiving email notifications for saved searches: To get notified by email about new items matching your saved search:
  1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
  2. On the left side of the page, in the Lists section, click Saved searches.
  3. From your list of saved searches, find the search you want.
  4. Click the More actions link next to that search and select Sign up for emails.
  5. Select the Email me daily when new items match my search check box.
  6. Click the Save button.

Both of these really do work if you follow ALL the instructions! You'll get daily updates IF and WHEN the ax shows up just about anywhere. I live in NYC. I was looking for a kind of rare bass and by using the Google Search I eventually found just what I was looking for. It was being advertised in a Craig's List listing in a smallish New England town. I did contact the owner and had a deal within a day at a much lower price than I would have paid in any major metro area. More importantly, I would have NEVER have even found it without the daily Google Search up and running.

Good Luck!

I am sorry for your loss! Its a beauty! I am building a custom bass now so I can imagine the pain of losing something not only outstanding in quality but unique and personal.

Maybe this is bad timing but may I inquire about the neck plate? I am assuming its personally engraved by a shop or something? Its really unique.

Hope you find it!

Some lost things take years. Don't give up!

I'm in Sebring and will check out some places. They're going to sit on it until the heat cool down, I know because we found a TB bass on Ebay.
