STOLEN: Tokai 1985 Jazz Sound

Hi there

Somebody broke into my house at the weekend I thought they hadn't taken anything. This morning I discovered that my bass guitar was gone - they didn't take anything else, which makes me think it might have been stolen to order, or at least that it was stolen by somebody who knew what they were stealing.

It's a 1985 dark metallic blue Tokai Jazz Sound, with lots of belt buckle scratches on the back. I feel extremely cut up about it, as it was my only bass guitar, and I spent a very long time finding it. Also, because I've recently started teaching and gave up my day job, I've been skint, so I didn't renew my insurance.

If you are a tokai collector and you do come across a bass like this, I'd appreciate any leads or if it's very cheap please buy it and I will reimburse you.

Get round all the pawn shops and Cash Generators in your area, chances are the thief will try to flip it quickly. I'd also take the step of handing pictures of it in to them and the police, along with a detailed description and any serial numbers if you haven't already.

Hope you get it back quickly mate, burglars are the absolute scum of the earth, and need stoned to death when caught!!!
