Stolen: Trout Fishing In America's instruments

According to an article on KHOU.COM, the van belonging to Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet, who are the duo "Trout Fishing In America," was stolen on January 29 here in Houston (GRRR!). Inside the van were all the members' touring instruments, including several custom guitars and basses.

This page has a slideshow showing many of the instruments. (Facebook album here.)

These are great guys and it just kills me to hear that someone did this, especially here in Houston (where they're from). Hopefully, the uniqueness of these instruments will make them difficult to sell off, but please keep your eyes open.

Keith Grimwood lost the following:
  • Clevinger Bass Serial #4189
  • Sadowsky Bass guitar Serial# M2942 Model RV2-59B
  • Enke Fretless Guitar (Custom, no Serial #) Spalted Maple Top
  • Tacoma Bass Guitar with custom neck. Serial # G2035010

Ezra Idlet lost the following:
  • Rick Turner Renaissance Steel String Guitar. Serial # 00-1311 (The guitar is unique because of his daughters "guitar tattoo".)
  • Neckville Dual Pickup Electric Banjo (also with "tattoo" artwork
