Hey guys, my good friends in Colour Revolt lost everything lastnight. They had packed up everything, went back in the venue, and fifteen minutes later, EVERYTHING was gone. Including some ampeg stuff a jazz bass and a Ric.

Here is their site.

and a list of the stolen stuff

They are a great group of guys that are in need of help.

Sorry to hear it. People who steal instruments really suck.

As posted on their MySpace:

UPDATE ON THE VAN AND TRAILER
First off, thanks so much for the donations, kind messages, and offers to help. We really appreciate all of that.

Just a quick update. On Friday our van and trailer were found. They are now in the impound lot of the Dallas PD. The van and trailer had nothing left inside them. But we are told they are driveable. This is good. Also, four of guitars showed up in pawn shops. Same goes for one of our amp heads and a pair of cymbals. These are all good signs. We're hopeful that more things will turn up.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP US
A lot of people have asked what they can do to help. Right now, most of the recovery stuff is in the hands of the police. Even if we do find most of our stuff, there's still going to be a lot of money we have to pay back

Even if you only can give $5, every little bit helps us get back on our feet. We estimated we have lost around $50,000 of gear, computers and personal belongings.

You can send us money by clicking here

If that link does not work, you can PayPal "send money" to: colour.revolt@gmail.com

If you prefer to send money physically via check, make them payable to FOXXE IN A BOX LLC

SPECIAL THANKS
We have got to give a special thanks to our friends in The New Frontiers, who kept us alive after all of our stuff got jacked in Dallas, and Chase Pagan, who graciously gave us a ride to Austin for SXSW. Thanks much to the guys from Estates for letting us borrow some of their gear. And same goes for the guys in Lovedrug. Thanks to the Dallas Morning News for writing about us. We really appreciate it.

That's decent news! Better that most could hope for. Hopefully the guitars and equipment will keep popping up.

I don't remember how I discovered the Colour Revolt but I'm definitely not the only Canadian fan!
