Fully diminished chords I'm assuming. You can use the whole/half octatonic (pardon the redundancy) scale.

ok, if you have a Bdim (B, D, F, G#) does the w/half go like
(B, C#, D, E, F, G#, A, C, B)

or is it?
(B, C, D, D#, F, F#, G#, A, B)

both fit. Does anyone know any examples where this happens in a walking bassline, i'd like to listen to it.

It starts (ascending) with a whole tone interval, then half tone, whole tone etc
so the one in B would be
B, C#, D, E, F, G, G#, A#, B

Also bear in mind that some diminished chords are just V7b9 chords in disguise...
But generally the W/H diminished scale is the one to play.

EDIT: check the thread further down the page: Diminished/Half-Diminished Scales
and listen to what Chris F has to say on it

Arf! It's catching. I read your username as "Gaw Patron" - I presume it's more "Gawp At Ron"?
