free learning tool for the circle of fifths

Good evening,

as I had to learn the circle of fifths myself lately I wondered if there are any free learning tools around on the net. I didn't find one and programmed one myself. Please take a look here and tell your students about it, in case you like it

Suggestions are of course most welcome

I went through the flash tutorial and quizzes and found it to be very helpful.

If you're after constructive criticism - some of the questions were a little too easy to answer without thinking. For example, in the ones where you had to drag and match the two columns, the ones on the left were always in the same order (C, G, D, A etc.) so it became a repetitive motion of dragging "one sharp" to C, which was always on on top, "two sharps" to G which was always second etc. I'd say just mixing up the order of the left hand column on those would make them much more effective questions.

Otherwise nice job and I appreciate you making it.

Be careful to double check some of your questions as well. One asked me to write down the A scale starting and ending with D. Lydian. Sweet. I can do that. But I ended up getting it wrong because the answer was an A scale starting and ending on A...

Excellent!

Too bad that wasn't around for me thirty+ years ago when I really needed to pack it into my brain for easy retrieval.

Question 35 of Test 06 appears to be incorrect. It says "Bring these 8 keys into the correct order clockwise" but then lists the answer counterclockwise.

GREAT tool! Thanks circleoffifths! I posted this over in the "General Instruction" forum on the BG side. Hope you don't mind.

Ya done good! I only scored 50% and ran out of time on the final. Need to bone up!
