Miles Davis' Teo

I'm not sure if this belongs here in "Music Theory" or whether it should be in "Music". I was listening to Miles' "Teo" as recorded on "Someday My Prince Will Come". This is what I hear and I was wondering whether anybody would like to add their own opinion.

It sounds to me like a variant on Flamenco Sketches except the modes are a bit different and obviously the pace is different. Seems to be F Dorian over F-, A Spanish Phrygian over A7b9 and D Spanish Phrygian over D7b9 with the soloists (or possibly PC) dictating the length spent on each mode.
